I think it's safe to say AudioJelly is UK's leading non-rights managed music download site at the moment. Lots of labels, even more artists and an active crew behind it.
Files are sold in 192 Kbps MP3 format but the bitrate will be upgraded soon to 320 Kbps. As is the case with most non-rights managed sites there is no user library of previous purchases, but AudioJelly allows the tracks to be downloaded three times to accommodate for file transfer failures. As a special payment option AudioJelly will be offering SMS payments in the near future (for UK only I guess).

Even though the AudioJelly preview player is built into the site, you can continue exploring the site while the music plays. The downside of this frames based approach is that pages cannot be bookmarked. Previews seem to be about one to two minutes in length.
Using the site is pretty straightforward despite the somewhat cluttered design and basic help is readily available on the corner of every page. The site uses Macromedia Flash extensively although this isn't mentioned anywhere.
