Innovaro update for May 18:42 on Thursday
A few notes form this month’s Innovaro innovation update/insight/briefing (I’m not sure they know what to call it themselves):
- NetJets, a company offering fractional ownership of private jets for “a bit more than a standard business ticket” has more than 500 planes.
- Net-a-porter delivers high fashion and luxury items to your doorstep, in stylish black boxes, by courier (of course).
- Vodafone and Citibank launch a mobile-based international money transfer service. Huge news for people in developing countries. (By the way, Vodafone’s web presence keeps kicking ass.)
- The Chinese are aiming to open the first pebble-bed nuclear reactor in 2010.
