What if the inevitable iPhone is not the quad-band cell phone + iPod hybrid we all like to expect? What if it is just a Skype replacement? Possibly with a proprietary closed DRM applied to the transferred speech. ;) Apple has a huge data distribution network, so maybe they could use that for uninterrupted VoiP data transfer, too? Cheap VoiP with quality of service promise… how about that.
