Although I missed EuroGEL, a couple of my friends did go. The general verdict seems to be they were very happy to experience the conference and came back re-vitalized, re-booted, re-everything. Here’s a freely translated snippet from an email I got from Miemo/Frantic:

Thanks for the EuroGEL-tip, it was truly interesting — a great combination of straight-to-the-point subjects and fascinating weirdness. I must say it was the first conference I’ve been to that would discuss claiming streets, urban planning, news visualization, autistic chocolate, ascii art and wikipedia.
