RIAA shows signs of accepting reality 09:50 on Thursday

Washington Times writes how RIAA has finally figured out
the number one strategy [to battle piracy] is to offer a legitimate alternative. Bill Miller of The Songwriter magazine puts the short history of the majors’ online music business in two sentences: The current [major label executives] of the record business first ignored, and then virulently opposed the internet. They put every impediment possible in the way of people who knew their music and their audience.
